Starting therapy can feel overwhelming or uncertain—and that’s completely normal. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood as we begin this process together.
From our first session, we will work collaboratively to identify your goals for therapy. I see my role not as someone who provides all the answers, but as a guide who helps you discover solutions that align with your values, strengths, and life experiences. I’m here to support your growth—not to direct it. It’s important to know that therapy isn’t always a straight path. There may be times when exploring difficult emotions or experiences brings up discomfort before you begin to feel better. This is a natural part of the healing process, and I encourage open dialogue about any concerns or questions that arise along the way. We’ll navigate them together. My work is grounded in systems theory, which means I view individuals as deeply connected to the larger systems around them—such as families, workplaces, and communities. These relationships and environments shape how we function, and understanding them is a key part of the therapeutic process. Above all, I strive to provide a therapeutic experience that feels collaborative, empowering, and tailored to your unique needs. |
